As luck would have it Petit Anti-Fouling was on sale at West Marine a few weeks back, reduced from $179 per gallon to $120! Still very pricey but I was very happy with West Marine Brand water-based that I used last time so I grabbed a gallon.
I moved the waterline up by a couple of inches as well to try to take care of the barnacles on the water line.
Next was the long awaited task of re painting the non skid…
The biggest fear the I had was the color, its really hard to get a good feel for how the decks would look from a color chip. All of the canvas is blue and whilst I love the look of the big deck with glossy woodwork the were concerns about it not looking right…
Came out pretty good though!
FYI, Santosha is 32′ with 10′ 6″ beam and took three quarts of Interdeck to complete.
The product covers well but thinkers quickly in the sun. I cut in with a 2″ sash brush and rolled with a thick map mini roller. It’s a bit like painting with glue….

Decks look great. We also have a Seawind II, #113 and plan to paint our topsides this summer. I don’t see in this post what brand of paint you used for the decks. Any update on how it’s held up so far?

I used the interlux sand I think. It takes a gallon so you want to order it. Most stores just carry the quarts.
